Creator Terms

This is the foundation of our relationship: you act as an independent contractor. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between you and Hidden Gems.

That means: we do not pay you a salary or wages; we provide no employee benefits, insurance, or paid leave; we do not withhold taxes or social contributions on your behalf. You are solely responsible for your own taxes, licenses, and legal obligations in your country. Do not describe yourself as our employee or representative.

Publishing Gems requires an active Creator Membership ($9.99/month, cancel anytime). Membership lets you publish unlimited Gems, use Smart Links and the Vault, and access sales analytics. Drafting is free; only publishing requires membership.

You keep full ownership of your content. By publishing, you grant Hidden Gems a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, market, and deliver your content to buyers for as long as it remains published.

You warrant that you own your content or have all rights needed to sell it, and that it complies with the Content Policy and the law.

You set your own prices (minimum $0.50 per Gem). Hidden Gems retains a 20% commission on each completed sale; the rest is credited to your earnings ledger, minus any refunds, chargebacks, or processor fees.

Payouts go to your own Stripe account, which you connect and verify yourself, and follow Stripe's payout schedule for your country. Ledger balances are estimates, not money in your bank, until Stripe pays out.

Describe your Gems honestly — the public description must match what the buyer unlocks. Deliver what you promise. Respond to buyer issues in good faith. Keep your tax and legal affairs in order; we issue no tax forms on your behalf beyond what the law requires of a marketplace.

You may not: buy your own Gems to inflate sales; coordinate fake purchases; manipulate metrics or awards; misrepresent your identity or results; or sell content that violates the Content Policy. Violations lead to withheld payouts, removal of content, and account closure.

Either side may end this agreement: you by cancelling membership and deleting your account, us for violations or fraud. Buyers keep access to content they legitimately purchased. Pending payouts are settled per Stripe's schedule, minus any amounts owed for refunds or fees.
